I buy almost everything I need. I often say that I wish they could sell groceries on eBay. But most often I buy clothes and jewelry, and every weird thing in between. I'm trying to teach my son about eBay by doing a search on the things he wants. Then we find a good seller that's listing it for cheap and I bid and if we win I have taught him how fun eBay can be And how to budget his money and if we lose I try to teach him that you win some you lose some and not to be an emotional bidder. And then later we win it for cheaper so that really brings it home! (I hope it does)

Good idea! Last month my 17 year old found her costume on the web and it was over $40. I found it on ebay and won it for a total of $28 including shipping. The EXACT same costume and new in the package. She has been turning her nose up so much since then.. She is the one who has to pay for the costume so it saved her some money!

I got the ring and I received the Charlotte Russe Fairie Dreams perfume for dd for Christmas, she collects fairies. This is the most awesome perfume! I had never heard of it and tried a little spray to see what it smelled like. Very cool. The best part, I got it for $3! I just went today to see if she was selling more and the bid is already at $25 with a lot of time to go! Good deal for me!

Right now I'm looking for records. My father bought me a vintage-looking record player, radio, cd player, and tape player for Christmas, but I don't have any records. So I am trying to find some good deals. [/b]

I love Philosophy Beauty products but they are pretty spendy, so I try to pick them up on eBay. They still go pretty high, but usually I can save some $$. I bought a "Today's Special Value" from QVC that had a bunch of Philosophy stuff in it that I had never tried before (called "Falling in Love") but I HATE the scent. Like a dummy, I tossed all the packaging and paperwork because I was so sure I would like it but it stinks! I'm going to sell it on eBay as I know it will sell easily.
Oprah listed a couple Philosophy things on her Favorite Things show a few weeks ago so naturally, Philosophy is extremely popular right now. Does anyone else use/like Philosophy?

I got a philosophy product (would have to actually go look to remember what it was) in the beauty box from Allure this summer, I don't remember if it was a sun product or a lotion but it was great. Also got some prescriptives stuff and I had never tried them either.. also great! I am already anxious for the beauty box to be available again this summer!

So I was wrong..it was a physicians formula product, a bronzing powder... not a philosophy product... hey they both start with PH...
